Based at the Royal Bank of Scotland's offices in Fettes Row, Edinburgh.

This was initially a small team of 4, but the size of the team fluctuated as we took on work asscoiated with the integration of the NatWest business into RBS systems.

The team supported various mainframe systems using mostly COBOL, CICS and DB2

Initiated new reporting procedures, largely automated to allow the team to record new tasks as they arrived, allocate these tasks to individuals and then track progress to completion.

This role was a purely managerial role with a high degree of business user contact, resolving business and support priorities, balancing resources to requirements.
