I have spent the last three years at telent working with the Business Users to formulate application change requirements, new application specifications. I have also worked in support of project management by producing project plans, work estimates etcetera. These bespoke applications were all running on SQL Server and were a combination of VB.NET, VB6, XHTML/ASP and Access front-ends.

All of this was a continuation of my previous career history as an IT Consultant working in a variety of roles with a number of blue chip companies.

Also within my current role I introduced the concept of change control and with it produced the design for an in-house product to support fault logging and change control procedures. Change Control is something that I have virtually grown up with right from the outset of my career.

I have also been Test Manager for In-house Applications supported by mean team. This means that I have had to plan the test scripts, execute them and record the results. I have then overseen and assisted with the Business User Testing.

Additionally I have acted as First Line Support for a number of In-house applications – minor fault fixing, categorisation and initial analysis for more substantial faults or enhancement requests. I have also been responsible for the provision of training material as paper and on-line documents, also for the delivery of training material and plans at business user site and finally also for the provision of Application Support material such as on-line User Guides and compiled HTML Help
