Playa Carvajal

The beach is 450 metres long and approximately 35 metres wide, Carvajal beach is known for its coarse dark sand and pebbles, and its calm water. It is a fairly busy beach, especially on the western side. That said when we went in October there was bags of space to sit in comfort and for the kids to play in.

Bright sun shades available for rent add colour to the spot, and if you do not have your own car, the train leaves you right opposite the beach.

The receipt of the Blue Flag Award in 2016 makes it a beach of unquestionable quality. The criteria for the award are divided into four categories: environmental education and information, water quality, environmental management, safety and services.

There is plenty of car parking there, along with a number of cafes or restaurants there for lunch and drinks. You can rent sun loungers and the like along with parasols for a few euros for he day and there are showers there to clean yourself up for the trip home.
