Pico do Arieiro

Pico do Arieiro is Madeira’s third-highest peak at 1,818 meters, famous for its breathtaking views, sunrise spectacles, and as the starting point of the iconic hike to Pico Ruivo. It’s one of the most accessible mountain summits on the island, reachable by road from Funchal, and a magnet for hikers, cyclists, and photographers.
