Bioparc Fuengirola

Bioparc Fuengirola is one of the highest-rated wildlife parks in Andalucía, known for its immersive “zoo-immersion” habitats and conservation-focused design. It recreates tropical ecosystems—Madagascar, Equatorial Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Indo-Pacific—with more than 200 species, many endangered.

What Bioparc Fuengirola Is Known For

Zoo-immersion design: No traditional cages; instead, naturalistic landscapes with waterfalls, caves, bridges, and dense vegetation.
Endangered species programmes: Roloway monkeys, Sumatran tigers, Visayan hornbills, and more.
Madagascar walkthrough: Free-roaming lemurs in a recreated island ecosystem.
Tropical forest journey: A continuous route through four biomes, designed as a narrative experience.
Daily activities: Keeper talks, enrichment sessions, bird/mammal presentations, and educational tours.

Highlight Species You’ll See

  • Sumatran tiger (critically endangered)
  • Gorillas
  • Komodo dragon

About Fuengirola BioParc

Located on the Costa del Sol, at BIOPARC Fuengirola we recreate a logical tour through the most amazing tropical jungles in the world. From the island of Madagascar, passing through equatorial Africa, Southeast Asia and the Indo Pacific.

Throughout this journey, we not only reproduce the vegetation or the role of water in tropical forests, but we also represent how the species that inhabit these ecosystems are organized and interact.

Each step of the visit is an opportunity to discover a new species and learn the importance of preserving it.
